Celebrations At Sanskar Gurukul

At Sanskar Gurukul we believe that culture is a strong binding force in societies and every individual is rooted in a culture that influences his/her life style and attitude towards life. By celebration of different cultures right from childhood the children develop understanding , respect for communities and at the same time enjoy. This helps to provide an open minded outlook towards life that encompasses everything that is natural , Good and promotes positive values.

Janmashtami.

Hathi ghoda palki , Jai kanhaiya lal ki !The whole Pre Primary block will be echoing this as they will celebrate Janmashtami with the mesmerising dance and song performances by students our school. The children will be asked to dress up as cherubic little Radhas & Krishnas or gwalas & makhanchor . They will be jumping with their band to break the matki with their acrobatic skills & thrill the crowd .

Raksha Bandhan

This festival expresses the love between the brother and sister. At Sanskar Gurukul all the litte girls will tie Rakhi to the little boys and sing songs and perform dance. Sweets and other yummy yummy snacks will also be provided making it a day to remember.

Independence day

The preparation will start 2 to 3 days before. Children will be taught to make a flag . We will celebrates India’s freedom & democracy. Children will dress up as our National Leaders and come to school. Flag hoisting will be done . Thereafter, National Anthem was sung by the tiny tots at Sanskar Gurukul. The whole campus was decorated with tricolor balloons, tricolor rangoli & tricolor flags.

Ganesh chathurthi.

The birthday of Lord Ganesha will be celebratesd with tremendous bliss & dedication. The ceremony will begin by offering flowers to the deity and garlanding the status. Thereafter, tiny tots will perform aarti with bhajans assisted by teachers. The whole campus will echo ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ in the voice of little kids which will create an exciting yet blissful environment.

Diwali.

Before we close for the Diwali vacation a week before that we teach children to make Diwali lamps by giving them different colors of modeling clay. We teach them to make "Diwali lamps" by molding the clay into small bowl shapes. Pieces of yarn or string are added for pretend wicks. glue paper flame shapes are stuck to the ends of the wicks . We line up his lamps on a windowsill for a festive look. We Make flower garlands by stringing flower shapes cut from colored paper onto pieces of yarn. The whole school is decorated.

Christmas.

Preschoolers will celebrate Christmas with Santa Claus. Singing, dancing and receiving their gifts is our mission for this special day. We decorate the Christmas Tree and terach children to sing Christmas Carols. Christamas craft is also taught to the children.
